Many of you know my brother, Jason, is serving in Iraq. I miss him horribly, terribly everyday. Christmas is especially hard, knowing he is there, in danger (and don't let ANYONE tell you "it isn't so bad" over there. It is.) and isn't enjoying himself, surrounded by loving family and feasting on goodies like the rest of us are. My heart really just isn't in it this year, but I try, for the sake of the kids. Anyway, my mom got a video from him today, and I had a real good cry. It isn't profound. It is short. But it's my baby, and I love him, and I just wanted to share him with you all. Please say a prayer for him and all of our other men and women serving bravely in the armed forces who are in harms way and away from loved ones. If you want to "meet" my boy, click the link.

:) Very nice. I am crying, thank you very much! Have a great Christmas....he looks great! Love ya!
Amen to Peace On Earth. I can only imagine how difficult Christmas is for military families everywhere. Let's hope they are all home by next year at this time. Be strong for your brother, and have a Merry Christmas.
OH HEATHER! That has to be the best Christmas present ever!! Merry Christmas!
Heather, thank you for sharing your brother with us all. You have my prayers for his safe return. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Thank you everyone for your good thoughts for my Jason. you can't possibly know how much it means to me. Yesterday was a very hard day, but knowing of all the love and support we have does help us to get through. My love to you all! ~Heather
Thanks for sharing baby Jason with us... that was so very touching. HUGS to you... and Jason. :)
Wow - that is touching. Thank you for sharing Jason with us.
He will be in my thoughts.
As much as I hate war, and hate having to have our boys anywhere but here at home - they are doing us proud and keeping us safe.
I have a great respect for the military and their dedication. My father is retired army and I grew up with it. I wish there could be world peace, but the reality is that will never happen. Until then, guys like your brother keep us from having another 9/11 and keep the world in check. I think everyone is more aware during the holidays.
Keep your head up and be proud. Know that the men like him are why we are safe and why our country is so grand and free. Much love
Holly
Of course that made me cry too. You should be really proud of him.
Now I'm crying too.
I can't even begin to imagine how you feel.
He's a cutie - be strong for him. x
(I played it 3 times and sent the link to my mum.)
